Our Communities Stream

AACP Accredited Pharmacists’ Forum: New Horizons in Pain Management  

With a focus on pain management, this forum will appeal to pharmacists who provide in-pharmacy consultations with consumers as part of the 6CPA Chronic Pain MedsCheck Trial. Funded by the Australian Department of Health as part of the Sixth Community Pharmacy Agreement (6CPA) Pharmacy Trial Program (PTP), the trial will focus on improving the lives of thousands of Australians who face the daily battle of chronic pain.

The program is structured to provide accredited pharmacists, those undergoing accreditation, and other interested pharmacists with relevant high-quality education covering therapeutics, practice pointers and clinical controversies. Presentations will be delivered by a range of experienced consultant pharmacists and clinicians.

Open to all pharmacists, the day is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to contribute to shared therapeutic decision making and to improve the management of chronic pain in the community.
