Amy Smith first completed a Bachelor of Nutrition Science in 2018 at QUT, followed by a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hon) in 202 at QUT. Amy went on to complete the QLD Full Scope studies in August 2024 and has been prescribing for our rural patients since. She has found the prescribing process very rewarding and loves being able to assist patients in receiving treatments for their minor ailments within a reasonable timeframe and seeing the positive results it can have on their healthcare journey and quality of life. Amy has a particular interest area in wound care and finds the ability to help patients heal their wounds using up to date evidence and effective treatments, incredibly rewarding.
