Anders Henriksson is the Application and Technical Support Group Leader APAC for IFF Health & Biosciences, where he and his team are advancing the development of dietary supplements, foods and beverages enriched with probiotics and/or botanical extracts across the Asia Pacific region. Anders joined Danisco in 2008 as a senior scientist in Singapore, where he spearheaded R&D projects focused on culture formulations for dairy and dietary supplements. Prior to this, Anders worked with a leading international food ingredients company, contributing to culture development and conducting pre-clinical and clinical studies on probiotics and prebiotics. Passionate about microbiology and the gut microbiome’s positive impact on human health, Anders holds a PhD in microbiology from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and completed postdoctoral research in gastrointestinal microbiology at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
