Georgina Twomey is a Credentialed Full Scope Pharmacist and pharmacy owner based in Cairns. As Managing Director of Alive Pharmacy Group, Georgina is responsible for overseeing clinical governance, purchasing/marketing, HR, change management, finance and strategy across the group. Georgina is the Chair of Rural Pharmacists Australia and a council member of the National Rural Health Alliance, through which she advocates for improved regional, rural, remote and indigenous health outcomes. She has also been involved in establishing the James Cook University Cairns campus intake of pharmacy students with an interest to increase the number of pharmacists in rural and regional Australia.
