Founder, Heart of the Nation

Greg Page

As a founding member of The Wiggles (1991), Greg Page travelled all over the world to entertain children. In 2006, Greg retired from performing after being diagnosed with orthostatic intolerance, a condition of the autonomic nervous system which regulates aspects of the body’s functioning such as blood pressure, breathing, sweating, and heart rate. During a charity benefit with the Wiggles in 2020, Greg suffered a cardiac arrest on stage. His life was saved by quick-thinking bystanders who performed CPR and used an AED. This led Greg to found Heart of the Nation, a charity focused on increasing survival rates by educating about CPR and making AEDs more visible, accessible, and actionable in communities. Greg has also been awarded an Order of Australia by the Australian Governor General for his services to the arts, in particular, children’s entertainment, and to a variety of charities.
