Credentialled Diabetes Educator & Pharmacist
Kellie Beckham
Kellie Beckenham is a proud Nganyaywana woman and a community pharmacist in the rural town of Casino, located on the country of the Bundjalung people in Northern NSW. Born and raised in Tamworth, Kelie was born into a passion for rural health. She has always lived in country towns, except for a stint in Hobart to complete her Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Tasmania and another stint in Darwin for her intern year at NorthPharm Darwin. Kellie owned the pharmacy in the small town of Mungindi on the NSW and Queensland border for 11 years before moving to Casino. She has recently become a Pharmacist Diabetes Educator, due to the overwhelming number of people living with diabetes in rural Australia that have trouble accessing specialist care in rural settings.
