Nicolle Edwards is the Founder and CEO of RizeUp Australia, a national charity transforming the lives of individuals and families fleeing domestic and family violence. Since 2015, Nicolle has built an organisation that delivers urgent, practical support to victim-survivors – restoring dignity and creating safe, hope-filled new beginnings. A sought-after speaker and media commentator, Nicolle has presented a TEDx talk and regularly features on podcasts and news platforms. Her work has earned national recognition, including the Westfield Local Hero award (twice), Excellence in Volunteer Management, Women of the Year People’s Choice, and Angels Among Us. Originally from Zimbabwe and now based on the Gold Coast, Nicolle leads a movement of over 1,600 volunteers across Australasia. Fiercely passionate and purpose-driven, she believes that safety is a right, not a privilege, and through RizeUp, she is helping entire communities rise together.
