Pre-Conference Workshop 1: Immunisation course

The Australasian College of Pharmacy offers the Pharmacy Guild Immunisation Course. The course will provide you with vaccinator qualification CPD credits. The course provides:

  • A background to immunisation in Australia;
  • a familiarisation of the resources that are available to support immunisation services;
  • an outline of the regulatory requirements which cover the provision of immunisation services within pharmacy;
  • practical skill-based training in safe injection technique.

NB: This course is open to pharmacists practising in QLD, NSW, ACT and NT only (the course does not currently meet requirements for all jurisdictions and is subject to change).

Cost: $549 (GST free) College member / $739 (GST free) non- member. Includes workshop materials, morning/afternoon tea and lunch.

The Australasian College of Pharmacy (the College) announced on 20 October 2025, that it will be acquired by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA). Until the acquisition is finalised, the College’s products and services will continue unchanged. This workshop will continue as originally planned; however, if any changes occur, all registered attendees will be notified promptly.

Pre-Conference Workshop 2: Supplementary scope symposium

Prepare to elevate your clinical confidence and practical skills at the supplementary scope symposium. This full-day workshop is an immersive experience designed to support pharmacists expanding into autonomous prescribing and enhanced clinical practice.

With a dynamic mix of demonstrations, hands-on activities, and peer-led discussions, this workshop offers two tailored learning streams to ensure education tailored to your unique journey. Participants will engage in structured clinical scenarios covering sexual and reproductive health, otoscopy, respiratory and cardiovascular examinations, antimicrobial stewardship, abdominal assessments, wound care, and more.

Facilitated by experienced educators and clinicians, the workshop maintains a high facilitator-to-participant ratio to ensure personalised guidance and meaningful feedback.

Whether you’re prescribing now, or looking to broaden your scope of practice, this workshop delivers practical training in a collaborative and supportive environment.
