Charina Townsend is a community pharmacist, rural health advocate, and soon-to-be proprietor of Pharmacy 777 Port Hedland. With more than 15 years of experience in community pharmacy, including the last eight years dedicated to rural health, she is deeply committed to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the remote Pilbara region of Western Australia. Charina is currently completing a Graduate Certificate of Advanced Practice and Prescribing for Pharmacists through James Cook University, placing her on the pathway to becoming one of the first 90 pharmacist prescribers in WA, and one of only three selected from the Pilbara region. Her commitment to both her profession and her community reflects her drive to create meaningful, lasting impact across the Pilbara while empowering others to do the same.
