Canadian pharmacist, Christine Hrudka, to share international insights on full scope implementation at APP2026
Media Release
17 February 2026
International pharmacy leader and Canadian pharmacist, Christine Hrudka, will return to APP in 2026 to share her strategic insights with Australian pharmacists during the Full Scope panel session on Saturday 14 March.
With a distinguished career spanning chain and independent pharmacy ownership, high‑level governance roles, and national advocacy, Christine is recognised as one of Canada’s most influential voices in pharmacy. A previous Chair of the Canadian Pharmacists Association and current representative for North America on the World Pharmacy Council, Christine has played a pivotal role in expanding prescriptive authority for pharmacists in Saskatchewan. She continues to advocate for further expansion across the country.
Practising at full scope presents an exciting and continually evolving landscape for pharmacists. There have been huge strides in implementation since Christine last spoke on the APP2024 panel, and delegates can look forward to hearing from a leader who has walked the path before.
Christine brings valuable global insights into how pharmacists can expand their roles to better support patients and communities.
The Full Scope Panel session will explore the latest developments in full scope of practice and share practical steps to support successful implementation. Part of the APP2026 program’s Business & Innovation stream, this session epitomises this year’s conference theme, ‘Beyond the Script’, which encourages pharmacists to embrace innovation, compassion, and collaboration to deliver more patient‑centred care.
