Alice Nugent works part‑time with the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO), advising on medicines policy and programs. Her work focuses on supporting the integration of pharmacists into Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) and providing expert pharmacist input on projects and policies that improve medicines access and quality use of medicines for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Alice began her career in community pharmacy and has spent more than a decade working as a pharmacist in general practice. She continues to practise one day a week at both Dubbo and Wellington Aboriginal Medical Services, maintaining strong connections to community care.
