Chelsea Felkai
Chelsea Felkai is an aged care and disability pharmacist and the proprietor of My Village Pharmacy in Whitebridge and Redhead. A credentialled pharmacist with a Master of International Public Health, she is currently awaiting final acceptance of her PhD, which focuses on pharmacist support for people with intellectual disability. For the past seven years, Chelsea has delivered medication reviews to people with intellectual disability living in Supported Independent Living and has partnered with disability organisations to strengthen their medication management practices. Her passion for inclusive and accessible healthcare has shaped the services offered across her two community pharmacies in Newcastle, with a strong focus on tailored care for people with disability and those in aged care. Chelsea’s work includes coordinating off‑site vaccination clinics, conducting Home Medicine Reviews, delivering NDIS-funded services, and providing medication education and quality-use-of-medicines audits within aged care facilities and disability organisations. She has implemented the Onsite Aged Care Pharmacist model within her partner aged care homes and collaborates closely with the Newcastle and Central Coast PHN to advocate for and promote the ACOP model.
