Dr Shaina Zheng is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist and co-owner of Eyecare Plus Mermaid Beach, a dry eye–focused practice on the Gold Coast. With over a decade of experience, ​Shaina has an interest in dry eye management and patient-centred care, supporting those with chronic ocular surface disease. Shaina is the Vice President of the Dry Eye Society and founder of Dry Eye Impact, where she mentors practices nationwide in building evidence-based dry eye services. Holding an MBA and GAICD certification, Shaina bridges clinical practice and strategic leadership. Her practice welcomes collaborative care opportunities to improve patient outcomes for dry eye sufferers.
