Elizabeth Cuming is CEO of the National Pharmaceutical Services Association (NPSA), the peak industry body representing Australia’s medicine distribution network. Since her appointment in 2018, Elizabeth has forged alliances and taken a leading role in delivering important sector funding agreements including, most recently, the first Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Agreement (1PWA). She has a proven capability in developing and executing strategy and managing a complex stakeholder ecosystem, was central to NPSA’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and continues to build partnerships aimed at reforming, protecting and futureproofing community access to medicines, treatments and vaccines. Elizabeth brings her expertise to several government, regulator, industry and international working groups. Prior to her role with NPSA, Elizabeth held senior leadership positions in the pharmacy, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, higher education and professional services sectors.
