Shylee-Jade Pagliari is a pharmacist at the Alive Pharmacy Group in Far North Queensland. Her career in pharmacy began in 2020 after receiving the Alive Pharmacy and James Cook University (JCU) Award for Excellence in Pharmacy. During her studies, Shylee advocated for students both locally and across Australia through her leadership roles with the JCU Pharmacy Student Association and the National Australian Pharmacy Students’ Association. In 2024, Shylee graduated from JCU with a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours and received the title of Pharmacy Student of the Year and the Professor James Dare Queensland Graduate of the Year Award. Following a successful internship in rural FNQ, Shylee completed her expanded scope of practise study through JCU and is now a registered prescribing pharmacist able to provide a range of clinical services for her community. She also holds a casual tutoring position for undergraduate students at the university and enjoys giving back to the profession and inspiring future pharmacists.
