Tom Murray is a practising community pharmacist with over 30 years’ experience and currently serves as President of the Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) and Treasurer of the World Pharmacy Council. A Harvard-trained negotiations consultant and registered mediator, Tom owns and manages a community pharmacy business and is deeply committed to the profession’s sustainability and growth. Under his leadership, the IPU secured a landmark agreement with the Irish government, recognising pharmacists’ central role in healthcare, increasing core dispensing fees, and expanding the scope of practice. Tom continues to champion the advancement of community pharmacy both nationally and internationally.
